Why don't you charge per location?
Locations aren't a fair unit of value. Members are. Whether you run one branch or fifty, CoreAccess bills based on total Active Members in your organization — not the number of buildings you operate.
How are Active Members calculated?
An Active Member is any member with an active membership status. Pending, suspended, archived, and deleted members do not count toward billing.
Do inactive members count?
No. Only members with an active membership status contribute to your Active Member count.
Why are Staff free?
Staff make CoreAccess valuable — admins, managers, receptionists and scanner operators are essential. Charging for them would penalize you for running your organization well.
Why are Visitors free?
Visitors are a normal part of running an organization. Treating them as billable seats made no sense, so we don't.
Can I manage multiple branches?
Yes. Run multiple locations under one CoreAccess organization with centralized administration and a single billing account.
Can each branch have different membership plans?
Yes. Each location can define its own membership plans, pricing, branding and public enrollment experience while remaining part of the same organization.
Can I migrate from another system?
Yes. We support CSV imports for members, locations and devices, and offer white-glove migration support for larger organizations.
What happens when my organization grows?
Pricing automatically applies lower per-member tiers as your Active Member count grows — no manual upgrades and no renegotiation.
Why is Enterprise custom priced?
Organizations with 1000+ Active Members typically need dedicated onboarding, custom integrations, SLAs and volume terms. Custom pricing lets us match the deployment to the org.
